Once available, Gemini will appear as the primary contact in the chat’s start menu, presenting a standard messaging interface with some enhancements. Users can utilize expressive emojis and image uploads, though voice memos are not supported. Gemini enables users to craft messages, share ideas, plan events, or simply engage in enjoyable conversations more efficiently. It also supports extensions like Workspace (@Gmail), @YouTube, and @GoogleMaps, but not the YouTube Music extension in Google Messages. Gemini conversations are carried out via RCS, allowing users to leave comments or reactions and star and redirect them. However, Gemini access is limited in some platforms.
