Google has introduced Gemini to the side panel of its major platforms, such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The AI-powered assistant is now available in Gmail, using the Gemini 1.5 Pro model for advanced context window and smarter responses. Users can summarize email threads, suggest replies, or help compose emails without leaving Gmail. The feature aims to assist users in efficiently managing and reading long email threads on smaller screens. Additionally, the upcoming Contextual Smart Reply and Gmail Q&A will soon be available for mobile devices. Gemini is accessible to Google Workspace customers with Gemini Business and Enterprise, Gemini Education and Education Premium add-ons, as well as Google One AI Premium. The full rollout begins today.
