Samsung has released the first software update for its smartwatches Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, which were launched in the markets last week. The update aims to fix software bugs and improve device stability. The new update for Galaxy Watch 7 carries the version number L310XXU1AXG2 with a size of 173.51 MB, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra update comes with version number L705FXXU1AXFB and a size of 330.59 MB.

Users can download the update through the Galaxy Wearable app, then go to Watch Settings > Software Update > and click on Download and Install. These watches are the first two smartwatches in the world to run on Wear OS 5, with One UI 6.0 Watch interface. The update includes new features like “Power Degree,” custom exercise programs, improved sleep tracking, reduced power consumption during exercise tracking, and personalized health tips supported by AI. Samsung has also added double-press gestures for quick interaction with the screen, a new line, smoother charging animations, forward and backward navigation gestures, a new design for ongoing activities, Samsung Find app, and new watch faces.

Samsung has released the beta version of the One UI 6.0 Watch update for Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 in some countries, with the stable version expected to be launched for these devices before the end of August 2024.
