Toyota recently unveiled two new electric sports utility vehicles at the Beijing International Auto Show. The bZ3C and bZ3X models cater to the needs of young individuals and families in the Chinese market. The bZ3C was specifically designed for the younger generation in partnership with leading Chinese electric car companies like BYD Toyota EV Technology and FAW, along with the Intelligent ElectroMobility Research and Development team.

Meanwhile, the bZ3X was developed through cooperation between Toyota, GAC Group, GAC Toyota, and the mentioned research and development center. Both vehicles feature panoramic sunroofs, digital displays, large entertainment screens, and wireless phone charging platforms for convenience. Advanced driver assistance technologies are also integrated, although details about the drive system and other information have yet to be disclosed. Toyota has not announced the launch date or pricing for the new electric vehicles, and it is unclear whether they will be available outside the Chinese market.
